Acrylic Lacquer

ACR-100 Acrylic Lacquer is a fast drying coating specifically recommended for interior and exterior use on properly prepared primed metal, or plastic. ACR-100 lacquer offers superior color and gloss retention properties and excellent adhesion over a wide variety of plastics.

Industrial Alkyd Enamel

ALK-110 is recommended for industrial use on primed or un-primed metal surfaces. Suitable applications include metal fabrication, castings, machinery and heavy equipment. This product can be tinted with the CPC tints.
ALK-200 is a fast drying interior/exterior enamel intended for industrial use on properly prepared and/or primed metal surfaces. Suitable applications include metal fabrication, castings, cabinets, machinery, and heavy equipment. ALK-200 provides a wide balance of performance properties, including excellent flow and leveling, film hardness and good exterior durability.
ALK-280 is a fast drying, 3.5 VOC enamel intended for industrial use on properly prepared and/or primed metal surfaces. Suitable applications include metal fabrication, castings, cabinets, machinery, and heavy equipment. ALK-280 provides a wide balance of performance properties including excellent gloss, leveling, flexibility and a fast dry.
ALK-300E Low VOC Acrylic Modified Alkyd Enamel is a fast-drying, industrial coating designed for interior / exterior use on most pretreated or primed metal surfaces.

Low VOC Polyurethane

AU3-L801 and AU3-L901 are recommended for Caterpillar equipment components required to pass Caterpillar’s 1E1950A and 1E1951J high performance paint specification. Metal surfaces should be primed with a PPG Caterpillar-approved primer. (See surface prep. chart) Suitable applications include Caterpillar out-source metal fabrication shops, castings, drive assemblies and hydraulic components

Urethane Enamel

AUE-280 2.8 VOC Polyurethane Enamel provides a wide balance of performance properties, including excellent flow and leveling, film hardness and good exterior durability.
AUE-300 Low VOC Polyurethane Enamel is recommended for interior and exterior use on properly prepared and or primed metal surfaces. Suitable applications include metal fabrication, castings, cabinets, machinery, and heavy equipment. AUE-300 Low VOC Polyurethane Enamel provides a wide balance of performance properties, including excellent flow and leveling, film hardness and good exterior durability
AUE-360 (Spectracron 360) is a 2-component high solids urethane that offers excellent exterior durability, mar and chemical resistance, QUV resistance (500 – 1,000 + hours depending on color) and a higher film build capability with one pass coverage. It does not require an accelerator, can be sprayed through airless or air-assisted equipment and can also be brushed or rolled.
AUE-370 is a surface tolerant, high solid, high build, two component acrylic urethane formulated for direct-to-metal applications. The product is easy to mix and apply for airless or air-assisted spray applications. This product is compliant for applications in areas with VOC requirements of less than 2.8 lbs/gal
AUE-400LG Low VOC Polyurethane Enamel is recommended for interior and exterior use on properly prepared and or primed metal surfaces. Suitable applications include metal fabrication, castings, cabinets, machinery, and heavy equipment. AUE-400LG Low VOC Polyurethane Enamel provides a wide balance of performance properties, including excellent flow and leveling, film hardness and good exterior durability.

Epoxy Ester Primer

EEP 435 and 901 are 3.5 VOC, chrome free epoxy ester primers. These 1K primers exhibit good filling and corrosion resistance properties when applied over properly prepared steel and aluminum substrates. A wide variety of topcoats may be applied over EEP Series.

High Heat

HHA-300 (Aluminum) & HHB 900 (Black) are medium dry alkyd enamels that produce a durable, chemical resistant finish. They are intended for industrial use on phosphated CRS or HRS or primed or un-primed surfaces. Suitable for high heat applications where into service temperatures can reach 800°F (426°C)
HHS-900 is intended for use on austenitic stainless and carbon steel to provide protection against chloride attack and stress corrosion cracking on both insulated and uninsulated surfaces. HHS-900 has excellent thermal shock and barrier properties and may be used as a heat resistant coating for carbon steel. Suitable for high heat applications where into service temperatures can reach 850°F (454°C)

High Solids Polyurethane Primer

HSP-2128 is a high performance polyurethane primer which conforms to 2.1 lbs/gal. VOC limits in acetone exempt regulated areas, and to 2.8 lbs./gal. VOC limits in non-acetone exempt regulated areas. HSP-2128 is heavy metal free, and has excellent adhesion over a wide variety of metal and other substrates. HSP-2128 may be topcoated with all Commercial Coatings VOC compliant topcoats.
HSP-900 high solids primer is a 2.8 VOC polyurethane primer that does not contain any chromium pigments. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and adhesion when applied over properly prepared steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and fiberglass.

3.5 VOC Universal Alkyd Primer

VBA-435 (Gray) & VBA-735 (Red Oxide) are one component, alkyd primers that exhibit good corrosion resistance properties, when applied over properly prepared hot or cold-rolled steel. VBA has a VOC (RTS) 3.5 lbs./gal.

Water Reducible DTM

WPM-495 (Gray) & WPM-901 (Black) are direct to metal waterborne coatings where corrosion resistance over ferrous substrates is required in a one coat application.

Other PPG Industrial Coatings We Carry

ASP-4035 and ASP-7035 are 3.5 VOC alkyd shopcoat primers. They are intended for use as a temporary protective primer for fabricated metal products. These primers meet 3.5 lb. per gallon VOC limits in regulated areas.

ASP-495, ASP-795, and ASP-901 Primers are single component, VOC compliant, quick drying, and corrosion inhibitive alkyd shop primers.

CRE-904 and CRE-951 are chrome-free, high build epoxy primers, designed for maximum filling and corrosion resistance when applied over properly prepared steel and aluminum.

EPX-900, EPX-904, EPX-908, and EPX 950 are all purpose Epoxy Primers that creates a superior corrosion resistant undercoating with excellent adhesion properties when used on properly prepared metal surfaces. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and adhesion when applied over properly prepared steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and fiberglass

HBA-4035 is a 3.5 VOC fast drying, chrome free alkyd primer. This primer exhibits good filling and corrosion resistance properties when applied over properly prepared steel and aluminum substrates. A wide variety of LIC topcoats may be applied over HBA-4035.

HBA-CT is a custom-tinted, one component, alkyd primer which exhibits very good corrosion resistance properties, when applied over properly prepared hot or cold-rolled steel. HBA-CT has a VOC level of 2.8 lbs./gal under acetone exempt regulations, 3.5 lbs./gal in non-acetone exempt areas.

PLC-900 Wash Primer is a surface pre-treatment designed for direct application to properly prepared bare metal surfaces. With this product, as with other metal pre-treatments, optimum performance of the topcoat can be improved with the use of PPG recommended primers over PLC-900.

VAP-CT is tintable vinyl acrylic primer which provides superior gloss and color hold out properties when applied to properly prepared metal surfaces. VAP-9xx will improve the hiding characteristics of the high chroma lead-free yellow and orange topcoat colors.

WTR-200 is fast drying interior/exterior water reducible enamel intended for industrial use on bare or primed metal surfaces. Suitable applications include metal fabrication, cabinets, shelving, agricultural equipment and trailers.

ZNP-101 is a one-component organic zinc rich primer that is a ready-for-use, self-curing, cathodically protective maintenance coating. It can be applied over properly prepared blasted steel or be used as a touch-up primer for selected galvanized steel or zinc rich coatings.

ZNP-200 is a high solids, two component, organic zinc rich primer for structural steel and other carbon steel surfaces which may be exposed to severe environments. This product contains 75% zinc in dried film (by weight).
